Pause, Reset, Reclaim
In this video, I share my journey of stepping away, hitting pause, and finding a way to reset. It wasn’t easy, and it didn’t happen overnight. It took two years of planning and a willingness to let go of control.
Join me as I explore the power of disconnecting to reconnect with what truly matters. This isn’t a how-to guide—it’s a story of how I reclaimed my balance and peace.
Sometimes, the only way forward is to stop, breathe, and reset.
Why I decided to leave
Leaving the city , at least temporarily might be good for my mental health. Both due to work pressures 15% and the fallout with regards to a lack of affordable housing, short term and emergency shelters. The lack of these shelters forces the un-housed to break into apartment buildings in order for them to have a safe place to sleep. The same goes with transit vehicles. I am glad that Saskatoon has adopted a more flexible approach to building affordable housing (based upon the housing accelerator fund). I wish we had more places like Station 20 West and the development going on near Betts and Hart.
